How does a chef turn the common cheeseburger into a One of a Kind experience?
Like any other creative endeavour, chefs put their personality and passion into every bite. Fresh ingredients, flawless technique, and a style that shows up in every dish. Shawn Rock is a Chatham-Kent native who moved away to immerse himself in the culinary world and is now bringing those experiences home to share with the community that meant so much to him growing up.
OOAK Productions chose Shawn for this #creator profile after meeting him at a local food and music event. Shawn is a warm and engaging personality who knows what he offers; larger than life flavours packed into a familiar presentation.
He also cares deeply about his hometown. As part of this project we approached one of Shawn’s favourite non-profits, big brothers and big sisters, to offer them a free lunch and film the visit for further content.
CK Smashburger has been a huge success since opening Summer 2022. The combination of a fun atmosphere, high standard of quality, and visibility at public events across Chatham-Kent, sees Shawn gaining new fans and followers with every bite.
